To obtain a quotation for a Custom (made-to-measure) log store, please select the quote button below follow the instructions given. We will then prepare a quotation for you with a price and estimated delivery date and send this to you, usually within the same day. A firm delivery date will be given when the order is placed.
We will then get back to you with the information you require or to make the delivery arrangements and agree the method of payment.
There will be times during the week when we are working in the forest and are unable to answer the phone. Please leave a message and we will usually come back to you before the end of the day, possibly the evening.
For the Firewood delivery service, we will carry out a free on site-survey to agree a wood store location that is convenient for you but also practical for us to deliver the log boxes.
Log stores are delivered as self-assembly kits complete with all fixings. The illustrated instructions are sent separately by email just before delivery.
Log stores can be delivered to addresses anywhere in the British Isles. The prices quoted in this web site are for delivery to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. We can quote for the additional cost of delivery to Northern Ireland or any of the islands.
As the log store kits are quite heavy (a Classic A kit weighs around 55kg), it is wise to be present when the delivery arrives as the delivery vehicle is invariably single-manned. If it is not possible to be there, the driver will only be able to drop the consignment where the vehicle can reach. If, following delivery, it is not practical to take the complete packs to the assembly site, the packs can be opened and inidividual items carried.
The Classic A1 and Classic A2 log stores are usually in stock and delivery is arranged on a day of your choice as soon as payment has been received. The delivery window is 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Delivery on a Saturday or at a particular time in the day can be arranged at an additional cost, which will be agreed at the time of ordering.
A convenient delivery day for Custom log store delivery will be arranged with you when making the final payment. A single bay log stores will come in two or three packs whereas a two-bay log stores will be in four packs. Any one pack may weigh up to 80kg.
If any visible damage has occurred on its way to you, please contact us immediately before opening any of the packs. We will arrange for the damaged pack to be returned and rectified or replaced.
Ordering and payment
When placing an order, we will request a postal address and telephone number for the invoice, a delivery address with its telephone number (if different from the invoice address) and your email address. We will then issue an invoice by email and provide details for making payment. All invoices will be in pounds sterling. Invoices can be settled either by debit card or internet banking; whichever is most convenient for you. Credit cards are accepted for Classic log stores.
The invoice for a Classic log store will be for the full amount.
The initial invoice for a Custom log store will cover the deposit only. The accompanying email will give the full price, confirm the dimensions and type of log store ordered and confirm the promised delivery date. An invoice for the balance will be issued three weeks before the planned delivery date with payment due ten days before that delivery date.
Card details will be processed by WorldPay.
Refunds and cancellations
To date, we have had a very high level of customer satisfaction with our log stores.
However, if one of our Classic products fails to live up to the quality you expect when it is unpacked and assembled, contact us immediately and we will work out with you how to resolve the difficulty. If necessary, we will arrange for the product to be collected and provide you with a full refund. Please keep all of the packaging until you are happy with the product you receive.
All of our Custom products are erected and checked before packing and shipment. If there is any shortcoming with any Custom product that has been made especially for you, we will do whatever we can to rectify the problem.
Orders for stock Classic log stores can be cancelled up to two days before delivery and a full refund provided. After that date, the log store will be on its way to you.
Orders for Custom log stores can be cancelled only up to ten days before the planned delivery date and a full refund will be provided. After that date, we will have started manufacture specifically for you and no refunds will be provided.
